Mount Isa Mines improves survey safety and efficiency
The Emesent Hovermap helps Mount Isa Mines maintain safety and mining efficiency through rapid scanning of underground areas. An alternative to CMS, Hovermap reduces the data collection time from hours to minutes and produces high resolution, shadowless data of stopes for survey and geotechnical applications. Armed with accurate stope geometry, engineers are able to improve blast design and optimize stope performance. Hovermap is also used to scan drifts for deformation and above ground infrastructure for as-builts.
